Sealex, Inc. has developed a patented extrusion process utilizing
moisture cure silicone chemistry. Sealex also specializes in the
design and manufacture of preformed silicone seals.

Sealex, Inc. is a family owned and operated business which prides itself in its achievements of developing patented silicone extrusion technology. Sealex consists of a small, yet extremely productive and flexible collection of talents, whose mission is to develop and manufacture new and innovative products to serve the many sealing needs of various industries.
Sealex, Inc. was founded by Peter Hagen in 1992 as an S-Corporation
registered in Midland, Michigan. Peter's only two sons, Matthias
and Robert, have played key roles in the development of Sealex.
Robert Hagen is currently in charge of running day to day operations.
Matthias Hagen's responsibilities include manufacturing, lab product
development and color matching, as well as die design and fabrication.
Peter remains as the technical driving force for new patented product
and process technologies.
Two years of research and development of the product and process
yielded a useful product along with all the equipment necessary
to produce it. Sealex relocated to Harbor Springs, Michigan where
Peter contracted the construction of a 10,000 ft2 manufacturing
and development facility which now houses all of Sealex’s operations.
Presently, Sealex has successfully developed a product which has
been commercialized in conjunction with several major marketing
partners. Today, Sealex is jointly owned by Peter, Matthias and
Robert Hagen. Together the officers boast in excess of 40 years
in silicone processing and compounding experience. The current management

In
addition to supporting and serving our current customers, Sealex’s
goal has always been to continually improve its products and processing
capabilities while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
Sealex’s flexibility in regard to processing and product design
is enhanced by an extensive laboratory featuring state of the art
testing equipment and computerized color matching capability. Sealex’s
capabilities include in house CAD - CAM custom die fabrication coupled
with extensive experience in custom die design and support. The
facility offers ample production capacity and plenty of room for
expansion.
